OFRI - The Oregon Forest Resources Institute is committed to public forestry education and the encouragement of environmentally sound forest management.

SAF - The Society of American Foresters is the national scientific and educational organization representing the forestry profession in the United States. SAF administers the Certified Forester program and publishes the Journal of Forestry and several other journals.

WoodWeb - This site contains a plethora of information geared more towards the forest products industry.

Forest Management:

AOL - Associated Oregon Loggers is a trade association comprised of Oregon loggers. AOL also directs the Oregon Professional Logger program.

ODF - The Oregon Department of Forestry administers the logging and forest management rules mandated by the Oregon Forest Practices Act of 1971. This site contains many helpful resources concerning all aspects of forest management. ODF must be notified prior to many forest management operations. OFID - The Oregon Forest Industry Directory is the place to go when looking to sell or buy forest products.
